Red Heat
Ivan Danko and Art Ridzic very different couple cops, Ivan is a tough discreet Russian cop and Art is loud-mouthed American cop . They are forced to work together to hunt down Viktor Rostavilli, one of the most dangerous Soviet union drug kingpin and crime lord . Victor fled away from Moscow to U.S after the Russian cops failed to get him down and several cops were shoot one of them was Ivan partner.

"Red Heat" is not the first movie about a couple of very different cops, and it will not be the last, but as the formula goes this is a superior example.
