Quartet
Reg, Wilf and Cissy are retired opera singers who now live in Beecham House, a retirement home for former professional musicians. Their annual concert to celebrate Verdi' birthday is disrupted when Jean, a diva and ex-wife of Reggie, come and stay. Could they handle the problem and perform the concert successfully?

While Hoffman seems very aware he's gently closing the book on an entire generation of entertainers, he nonetheless allows them to do what they've always done best: be entertaining.
