One Fine Day
The movie tells the story of two single working parents Melanie Parker (Michelle Pfeiffer) and Jack Taylor who are left with their kids on such a hectic day after missing the bus for a field trip. They decide to put aside their bickering and juggle baby-sitting duties, but the rambunctious children don't make it easy.

Our whole family loved it.

Excellent romantic comedy. Exciting story of adults trying to succeed in careers with the drawbacks of children.

One Fine Day is two formulaic hours, but they do illustrate how two attractive leads and a lickety-split narrative can elevate meager material into something this side of bearability.
February 12, 2003
Silky smooth romantic comedy, with Pfieffer and Clooney at their most charming.
December 18, 2002
Cute and relatively inoffensive.
January 13, 2004
Remarkable chemistry between the impossibly glamorous pair of Pfeiffer and Clooney.

Privilege and coincidence have always been central to screwball comedy, but the speed of crosstown travel here rivals Die Hard 3 for plausibility.
