Ode to Joy
The film is about a man named Charlie, who has long been stagnant, a symptom of narcolepsy. This disease causes sudden bouts of paralysis whenever a person experiences strong feelings, especially joy. Charlie was able to develop a variety of techniques to deprive himself of much happiness but failed the final test when he fell in love this time.
