Hang Em High
This story tells about the more excitement we are experiencing through that vengeful man. The story begins after a gang of men tries to execute him for a cattle crime he has not committed, but it seems that things are going the other way. He is being rescued by the good cop (Clint Eastwood) by Marshal Dave Bliss (Ben Johnson) and Judge Adam Fenton (Pat Hingle). Now, lawyers are trying to keep him away from the crime scene, offering him a job as a federal guard with a warning that he is not misusing his new authority to seek reprisals from his torturers.

Ted Post's direction is especially adroit at keeping the baroque flurries bubbling under the deceptive surface of old-pro craftsmanship

Not one of Eastwood's best, but still a good film.

Though not high-minded debate, Hang 'Em certainly counts as a solid victory lap
