Days of Glory
During the Second World War, the North African forces faced the intolerance they had suffered so much at the hands of their French comrades, although they fought bravely. Over time, four men from North Africa decided to enlist in the French army to change things, liberate the country and fight discrimination.

Like most every great war movie, it combines intense action with human drama. There's also several overtly preachy scenes that accomplish little to further the story but they underline the already clear message.
