Angels In The Outfield
The events revolve around a set of comedic events, and events begin where Roger Bowman lives in a brood house with his friend GP, but when Roger's father comes to visit him, little hope returns to Roger's heart about his life with his father. But his hopes suddenly fade when his father tells him he could be a family again when Roger's favorite baseball team, California Engels, wins the ball, but the team is in the last place in his section. So Roger prayed to heaven and asked if the angels there could help the Angels win the baseball team so Roger could get the family he wanted, and because of his connections, he could.

Terrible fantasy. Full of depressing things like orphans and death. No amount of angels can uplift that.

Uplifting (for some) fantasy-comedy-drama. Stick with original version from 1950s.

On behalf of Angels fans everywhere, I demand an apology from the makers of this film.

The main problem here is one that seems to plague too many movies these days -- the film simply cannot seem to settle on a tone, wildly careening from broad, silly slapstick to syrupy sentiment.

Serviceable, but why does Tony Danza have to die?

A sugary and sickening Disney remake...
