The film depicts the story of a girl named Paula, an ideal girl living in St. Louis. Paula decided to marry her boyfriend Daniel, a lawyer who focuses on career. Paula moved to her aunt in Nantucket, where she once went to the nearby Martha's Vineyard Island. Paula meets Jerry, the owner of a charming inn, where they begin to feel each other's feelings away from Paula's plans to marry Daniel.
