A Christmas Carol (1938)
The story tells of a man who seems to be too stingy, as Ebenezer Scrooge hates Christmas and ill-treated a long-suffering employee, but he may change completely after a short time. Events change as Scrooge learns his mistake in the idea of Christmas after visiting a group of spirits that changed his life completely.

Although slightly corn-ball, this 1938 production...should appeal to fans of old-fashioned Hollywood-style filmmaking.
