Shelly Findlay was raised in Edmonton, Alberta. Her love of performance began at the age of four when she started ballet lessons. She later studied at the prestigious Edmonton School of Ballet. In her teen years, she shifted her focus from dance to theater. Shelly studied theater at the University of Alberta but later transferred into the distinguished acting program at York University where she graduated with honors. Shelly has worked consistently in commercials, voice-overs, television and film. She is now expanding her attention to include writing, directing and producing. Her first short film The Spot, has been accepted into several film festivals. She looks forward to creating more of her own work while collaborating with the talented individuals she has met throughout her years in the film industry. Hide
