Sharice Angelle Williams is an African American Actress, born December 23, 1984 to Calvin Williams and Stephanie Grant in New Orleans, La. Growing up in an impoverished environment uptown in the 90's was not easy. At the age of seven her parents divorced, sharice was left with her single mother and older sister Shontel. Her mother made a sacrifice by working all day, and went to school at night. Sharice older sister was there to nourished, disciple, and help Sharice in school.When Sharice was in the third grade she took a theater class, which helped her perform in her first play, Peter Pan. Sharice was originally casted as an Indian, but as rehearsal progressed third grade teacher Ms. Keegan saw Sharice's natural ability to entertain. Ms. Keegan then cast Sharice the lead role of Peter Pan. Her teacher was thrilled with her voice, attitude, and talent. Despite the fact that Sharice was a girl, the play went to many schools in the city, outreaches, and The New Orleans Jazz Fest in 1993. It was then, Sharice realized her gift on stage that she enjoyed entertaining. Sharice learned to harness all of her emotions and strengths into acting.After graduating from Xavier Prep High School in 2003 Sharice had plans to pursue her dream of becoming an actress. Sharice found Ethiopian Theater where she worked with Writer/Dir.Producer, Jo'Mo K. Bean. Sharice stared in his 100th play called D.O.G(death of generation). Following after the play in 2010 Sharice found a new opening to acting at a studio called Jaq's Acting Studio. The studio helped Sharice gain better knowledge of film and T.V. While being professionally trained and coached under the representation of Proclaim Talent Agency. In 2012 at the age of 27 Sharice finally received her big break in casting a Principal role in Lion's Gate Film called Beginning of the End (The Last Exorcism: Part II) directed by Ed Gass-Donnelly & Damien Chazelle.
