Ron Russell was born and raised in Chicago on the Southside. Ron attended Mount Carmel, an all boys Catholic high school. He has a business degree in Marketing. He studied acting at The Acting Studio Chicago. Ron has studied improvisation and sketch comedy at The Second City Training Center Chicago. He was one half of the duo Sanction Language, an edgy socially conscious Hip Hop group that was born from The Outfitters. Ron has performed at many venues, including House of Blues, The Metro, Austin's SXSW, and more. His background and experience in song writing, performing and marketing were a natural pathway to Acting and Modeling. Ron is comfortable performing in front of thousands of people. In his downtime, you will find Ron at Midtown Athletic Club keeping in shape and walking his dogs, Raven, a black lab and Whiskey, a golden doodle. One of his great passions is cooking - he is the grill-master and the top chef all in one! He makes an amazing veggie omelet and crock pot chili. Ron is admittedly a little OCD about cleaning and organization.....his sock drawer will blow your mind. Hide
