Robert "Rob" Gardner is a Professor of Sociology at Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon. He was born in Rossford, Ohio. Rob's acting debut came as a "bowling double" for the character Rick Kenmore (played by Tim Robinson) and an audience member on Season 3 of the IFC Network satirical TV series Documentary Now! (Episode 7: Any Given Saturday Afternoon). As a youth, Rob honed his skills as a competitive bowler in the Toledo, Ohio area. In college, he was as an intercollegiate bowler for Bowling Green State University's club team, and appeared on several episodes of the televised finals for the "King Classic" bowling tournament program on Findlay, Ohio's WFND, Channel 47. He has 8-300 games and 4 800-series to his credit. Hide
