Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, trained at The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, RJ Lucci is the complete New York Actor, Producer and Director. Recently relocated to LA and is now available on both coasts. RJ began in the industry coordinating picture vehicles for films 'School of Rock', 'How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days', 'Alfie', 'Stay' and most recently 'Sneaky Pete' S1, 'Gotham' S3, 'Americans' S5, 'Gypsy' S1 and 'The Detour' S2.One day on the set fo the TV show Ed, RJ was asked if he would be interested in being the driver of a black Lincoln Town car. Agreeing to do so, sitting in the drivers seat, Julie Bowen came over and introduced herself to RJ. After a brief conversation, Ms. Bowen stated, "Has anyone ever told you that you look good on camera?" "It is the first time Ive ever been on camera", replied RJ. Ms. Bowen's comment sparked something inside RJ that has propelled him to start learning the craft.After completing the 2 year program at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts RJ booked his first play on the day of graduation. Since then he has starred Off Broadway in the revival of Stephen Adly Guirgis' 'Den of Thieves', 'The Peculiar Road' at the Abingdon Theatre, portrayed Tony Aronica in 'Savage in Limbo', Young Man in Ira Levin's thriller 'Veronica's Room', Bill in 'Sure Thing' and countless more. His film and TV credits include 'Untitled', 'Lavished', 'Love Monkey', 'Going Up?', 'Crossroads', 'I Miss You More' and others. RJ has stepped behind the camera directing, producing and casting many commercials as well as features and short films. Hide
