At the age of 16, Mason began Meisner based acting classes in Portland, Oregon with premier acting coaches Katie O'Grady, and Jana Lee Hamblin. Upon completing his first showcase in front of agents, producers, and casting directors in Portland, the young actor secured two offers from major agencies. After signing with top agency, Ryan Artists, Mason began auditioning while continuing his training in the Portland area.Landing his first TV role in 2012 on the Emmy Award winning show, Portlandia (IFC), Coe worked alongside show veterans, Fred Armisen, Carrie Brownstein, as well as Academy Award Nominee and American Horror Story: Asylum's, Chloë Sevigny.
