Gravatte was the Playmate of the Month in the October, 1982 issue of "Playboy." She was named Playmate of the Year in 1983. Marianne posed for a bunch of "Playboy" special edition publications and appeared in several "Playboy" videos. Gravatte made guest appearances on episodes of the TV shows "Matt Houston" and "Mike Hammer."
