Actress Lisa Roti has TV credits that include co-starring roles on NBC's Chicago PD and Fox's The Mob Doctor.Her current projects include a starring role in an upcoming thriller "Laundromat," and Ms. Roti is also the official spokesperson for Heifer International-a global leader in the fight against hunger. As a noted musician, her debut jazz album, "Comes Love," charted in four continents and catapulted to the top of CD BABY "Blues: Jazzy Blues Album" category. Lisa's soulful take on Chicago jazz propelled her through venues and theaters throughout the U.S., Thailand, Amsterdam, Guatemala and China, and landed her a coveted performance in Beijing for the U.S. State Department's 100,000 Strong Initiative. Lisa is a born performer who has spent her life training and devoted to The Arts. Her studies began at an early age and earned her the role of principal dancer with The Boitsov Classical Ballet Company. Her passion for music and vocal abilities drew her to musical theatre, which ultimately led to her studies with many Jazz Legends of our time and the birth and success of "Comes Love." A Graduate of The University of Illinois at Chicago, she has studied at Acting Studio Chicago, The Green Room Studio and is an ongoing student of The Second City Training Center.While Lisa has always considered herself an actor first, her passion and motivation lies in the art of storytelling as a vehicle for better understanding of the human experience.
