Jonathan Charles "Jonny" Hazen (born Jonathan Charles Simonson) was born August 15th in Chicago, Illinois. He is the son of Catherine Karl (née Rodriguez) a hospital administrator. His mother is a Mexican-American and his father is of Swedish-American descent. He has 2 half brothers and 4 half sisters.He started his career as a model, working in Chicago and Atlanta before transitioning into acting. He got his start acting, filming a string of regional and national television commercials before landing his first credited role as Vice Detective Mario Rodriquez on Saints & Sinners for Bounce TV.
