Isabell Monk has been seen on many stages in addition to her filmwork. Broadway: Execution of Justice, The Gospel at Colonus; Mabou Mines: The Warrior Ant, King Lear (as Gloucester); The New York Shakespeare Festival; Arena Stage; American Repertory Theatre; The Kennedy Center; Actors Theatre of Louisville; European tour: The Gospel at Colonus; Carnegie Hall; Mixed Blood Theatre: Cut Flowers; The Children's Theatre Company: A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings She has also been awarded several prestigous honors: McKnight Fellow, Fox Fellow, Obie Award, Helen Hayes Award Nominee, Drama Desk Award, Parent's Choice Honoree for Family.
