Carla was discovered at age 14 by a modeling scout. She then moved to NYC and studied acting at The Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. Carla is of Belgian, Finish and Native American descent. She was born and raised by her adoptive family in Puerto Rico. She speaks English, Spanish, German, and Italian . Carla is happily married to Navy Lieutenant Commander Michael L. Smith.
