Austin Robinson was born on March 23rd in Dallas, Texas. He is of African, Native American, & Louisiana Creole descent. Robinson has been performing in productions of theater, dance, and performing annual speeches since the age of four. Prior to his start in performing, Austin was entered in a 1994 modeling competition at the age of two and won; earning him a contract, agency placement, and a commercial ad. All in which his parents was forced to decline due to the inability to travel/pregnancy of his younger sister. He went on continue performing locally in the city and in church(es).After graduating from high school, Robinson went on to earn an A.A. Degree in Acting from Western Texas College on a full ride track & field scholarship; in which he was also a freshman All American. He furthered his studies at Syracuse University in Communication & Rhetorical Studies with emphasis in Human Interaction/Rhetoric. While in New York, Robinson studied acting and modern, African, and jazz funk styles of dance. He trained with Off-Broadway director Chad Larabee and studying dance with various professors, choreographers, and instructors; including Anthony "Tony" Salatino (Julliard).Robinson has worked professionally in the entertainment industry as an actor, dancer, runway model, and behind the scenes assisting in productions of film & music. Some credits include: Bad Kids Go to Hell (2012), U.S. Dept. of Agriculture campaign "Think Smart" (2013), TNT's Dallas (2012), So You Think You Can Dance Promo (Season 8) National Dance Day Live Show (2011), Maximum Level - TV Series (Japan). He was also cast by DC Comics & Warner Brothers to portray Justice League's: The Green Lantern for Six Flags Entertainment (2012). Hide
