Anna Ewelina was born in Danzig, Poland. At the age of four she emigrated to Germany with her family and grew up bilingual in the Rhine-Main region. Foreign languages and cultures interested her from an early age on, also slipping into different roles - her passion for acting was born. Her first role was a growing hedge, which she played in kindergarden. Since then Anna took part in numerous theatre productions.2004 she decided to make her dream reality and completed her state-approved acting education at Stage & Musical School Frankfurt/ Main in 2007. During this time she was playing at the "Stadttheater Aschaffenburg", for example in "Mutterliebemutter" directed by Heinz Kirchner. She also concentrated on the music, from an early age on and was the lead singer in different cover bands like "Sechs on the beach".After a range of short movies Anna Ewelina made her TV debut in the German TV series "Unter Uns" in 2006 (RTL, Grundy Ufa). You also know her as "Lara Koenig" from the TV series "Die Anrheiner" (WDR, Zieglerfilm Cologne) where she was participating for four years, playing a young street girl who finally gets control over her life after some detours. Besides Anna also shoots for top shows like "Um Himmels Willen", "Tatort" and "Polizeiruf". She also loves working with her voice for narrations, audio books, radio plays and voice over.In 2012 Anna produced her own short movie "Wuerde" and played the leading role. She was awarded with the 99 Fire Film Award for Best Movie at the International Film Festival Berlinale. In 2016 she wrote and produced "Isch heisst"" ("Me names is") which premiered at the "50th International Film Festival in Hof", Germany.Today Anna is going back and forth between Munich, Warsaw and L.A. - with her cute black pug Resi.
