Amanda B. Jones is an actress, model, TV host and sustainability blogger represented by Talent Management Group in Salt Lake City, UT. Prior to returning to KUTV 2News as a weekend reporter, Amanda co-hosted an award-winning morning show at 101.5 The Eagle in Salt Lake City; part of a decade-long career in print, TV, and radio journalism. Jones was also formerly a features and music editor at IN Magazine, and a radio host for Millcreek Broadcasting. When she and husband (Utah TV reporter) Chris Jones were expecting their first child, Amanda became certified as a yoga instructor to ensure that she could spend more time at home with their son. In addition to TV and yoga, Amanda's passion is blogging to help people become self-sustainable; creating happier lives and a more peaceful world. A graduate of the University of Utah with a degree in Communication, Amanda has earned several journalism awards, including three from the Society of Professional Journalists. Amanda was also recently voted one of the Top TV News Personalities and Top Radio Shows by City Weekly readers.
